In addition, to being a soldier he was also a national level boxer.
- Jogeshwari Caves: Devoted to Lord Shiva are the ‘Jogeshwari Caves’ situated in this suburb. It is apparently about 1500-years-old, and is considered to be the ‘oldest’ city. Apparently, certain evidence suggest that these caves may have been built by the ‘Pandavas’ during their exile. Furthermore, the sizes of these caves can be compared to heritage monuments in the state of Maharashtra such as Ajanta, Ellora, and Elephanta Caves.
- Kamlistan: A popular film studio owned by renowned Bollywood director and screenwriter Kamal Amrohi is also located in this suburb. The Salman Khan movie ‘Dabangg-2’ was shot over here.
