‘Sterling Cineplex’ is what a vintage movie hall in Mumbai called Sterling depicted in the picture above is now known as. It is located in South Mumbai in close proximity to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. Furthermore, this theater was first made public way back in 1969 with screening of Dr. Dolittle. It was also the first theater in India to use Dolby Sound and Xenon Projectors. Furthermore, matinee, late night shows, and caramel popcorn were also introduced in the country for the first time at this movie hall. As of today, it is the only THX certified theater in the country.
